Good evening everyone, and welcome to the Tacomadome in Tacoma, Washington! And welcome to a brand new Pay-Per-View! Welcome to WWE “Stomping Grounds”, where its time to “kick ass and take names”, as the saying goes. Tonight, there are seven championships on the line, including the WWE Championship being inside a Steel Cage, a Universal Championship match with a special guest referee, and a Beast incarnate possibly lurking about with a briefcase. Let’s jump right into it!
- Akira Tozowa vs. Drew Gulak vs. Tony Nese: Triple Threat Match for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Winner and the NEW Cruiserweight Champion: Drew Gulak!
- Lacey Evans vs. Becky Lynch: WWE Raw Women’s Championship. Winner and STILL the Raw Women’s Champion: Becky Lynch!
- Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens vs. The New Day (Xavier Woods and Big E). Winners: Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens!
- Ricochet vs. Samoa Joe: WWE United States Championship. Winner and the NEW United States Champion: Ricochet!
- Heavy Machinery (Otis and Tucker) vs. Daniel Bryan and Rowan: WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championships. Winners and STILL the Smackdown Tag Team Champions: Daniel Bryan and Rowan!
- Alexa Bliss (w/ Nikki Cross) vs. Bayley: WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship. Winner and STILL the Smackdown Women’s Champion: Bayley!

- Baron Corbin vs. Seth Rollins:(No count outs, no disqualifications match for the) WWE Universal Championship. Special guest referee: Lacey Evans. Winner and STILL the Universal Champion: Seth Rollins!
What can I say? It was a short night, relatively speaking. Most of the matches ended pretty clean. There were a few matches where there was some outside interference, but that was to be expected. The one that really kinda got me a bit agitated was the main event. The Corbin/Rollins match. Corbin tried just about everything to screw Rollins and take the Universal Championship away. From having Lacey Evans being the referee, to even going back to his bag of tricks and changing the rules to suit himself. Luckily, Becky came down to make the save for her boyfriend, Seth Rollins, and his Championship. While I am glad of the outcome, the way it was done, one could see it happening a mile away. What could’ve been better was to have Brock Lesnar be the referee, help Corbin beat Rollins or the other way around, then Lesnar cash in and win the Championship. That’s what I was thinking. Overall, it was a good night, not the greatest, not the worst, just good. The next Pay-Per-View is on July, 14th. And, it’s called “Extreme Rules”. Which is fitting, since it is in the birthplace of ECW, Philadelphia, PA! ‘Til then everyone!
