Duke adds Bolden to Monster Recruting Class
- Updated: May 23, 2016
This past Thursday, 5-star center Marques Bolden tweeted he will be joining an already loaded Duke team for the 2016-17 men’s basketball season. This is a HUGE pickup for Duke considering the one somewhat weak spot they had going into next year was the center position. As a fan I cant even begin to describe how excited I am for next season. Adding the projected top two picks in the 2017 NBA draft Harry Giles and Jayson Tatum to go along with returning top players in Luke Kennard and Grayson Allen will be championship or bust for the Blue Devils. Another incoming freshman, Frank Jackson, will take over the PG duties from transfer Derryck Thornton. Duke is widely considered to be the preseason #1 overall team in the rankings and they are the current favorites in Las Vegas to cut down the nets at +350 ($100 bet wins you $350).
