In 2016: Probably plays at least a little bit. I’m not at all worried about Michigan’s WR group next year, especially if bowl game Grant Perry is the real Grant Perry. After Chesson, Darboh, and Perry, though, nobody’s done a whole lot. With another year of quality coaching for those guys under their belts going into 2016 – who knows? I still think Drake Harris, in particular, has some real potential. Moe Ways looked decent last year. But I think it’s worth getting Crawford some playing time.

In 2016: Dunno. He could end up at safety; I hope he doesn’t, because I really liked what I saw of his tape. (I think it’s his junior tape, which makes me like it even more.) If he sticks at WR, he probably sees the field for the same reasons Crawford does. However, it wouldn’t shock me to see him redshirt, since Michigan has a couple guys with his skillset already (Darboh, Ways kinda), whereas they don’t so much with a guy like Crawford.

In 2016: Depends on what Grant Perry does, if bowl game Grant Perry is the real Grant Perry, and what Eddie McDoom and Chris Evans do. If bowl game Grant Perry is here to stay and he’s going to play mostly in the slot, a redshirt may be the better option for Johnson.

Chris Evans, 4* ATH

In 2016: Since Evans looks like he can play RB and in the slot, I’m going to guess that he sees the field at least a little in 2016. Most people are thinking he’ll end up mostly in the slot, but I really liked what I saw of him as a RB.

Nick Eubanks, 3* TE

In 2016: Redshirts. Eubanks needs to put on some weight and develop as a blocker. After that, we may get to see what might have been if Devin Funchess had played on good teams.

Devin Asiasi, 4* TE

In 2016: Michigan has plenty of TEs, but with as talented as Asiasi appears to be, he could end up filling the A.J. Williams role.

Ben Bredeson, 4* OL

In 2016: Almost definitely redshirts. Bredeson could compete for a spot in 2017, when Michigan will need to replace 60% of the O-line. Bredeson could play tackle or guard; the depth chart may dictate that he plays tackle.

Michael Onwenu, 4* OG

In 2016: Almost definitely redshirts. While Onwenu could end up on either side of the ball, offense seems more likely and that seems like the right call to me. He looks like a solid DT, but a potentially great OG. He’ll have to shed some bad weight (he’s listed at 365 pounds), but in 2017, he could compete for a spot on the O-line.
