2021 WWE Men’s Royal Rumble Match Winner: Edge!
Tonight was full of surprises from the past. Edge, Christian, Torrie Wilson, Jillian Hall, Victoria, just to name a few. The worst match of the night was the WWE Championship Match between Goldberg and McIntyre. It was just a bit too short. I guess the funniest part, was that the 24/7 Championship changed hands three times tonight. Especially after R-Truth was warned during the pre-show about being on set, with the 24/7 Championship, that something could happen.
The Royal Rumble Matches themselves were good. I was surprised to see Bianca Belair win her match, as I was routing for Rhea Ripley. However, I am glad she won. The same goes for Edge. For him to actually hang it up, he really needs to get back the championship he never lost in the first place. Although I didn’t like the fact Omos caused a couple of eliminations, but seeing as it is a No DQ match, there was nothing I could say.
The Last Man Standing Match was pretty good, even if Kevin Owens got screwed again. But, at least Roman Reigns knows that Kevin can go toe to toe with him, for the most part.
All in all, tonight was decent. It will be interesting to see who Bianca and Edge choose for their opponents for “Wrestlemania”, which is in 69 days…nice! See you on February, 21st for the “Elimination Chamber”!
