WWE Wrestlemania Backlash Results 2022

Good evening, everyone! Welcome to Providence, Rhode Island for tonight’s event: “WWE Wrestlemania Backlash”! Tonight, only the Smackdown Women’s Championship is on the line in an “I Quit” match between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair! Also, a hugs Six-Man Tag Match between Drew McIntyre and RK-Bro and The Bloodline! Should be an interesting night, so let’s get started!

1. Seth “Freakin'” Rollins vs. “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes. Winner: “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes!
2. Omos (w/ MVP) vs. “The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley. Winner: Omos!
3. Edge vs. AJ Styles. (Damian Priest is banned from ringside) Winner: Edge!
4. “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair: I Quit Match for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship. Winner and NEW Smackdown Women’s Champion: “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey!
5. Happy Corbin vs. Madcap Moss. Winner: Madcap Moss!
6. RK-McBro (Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, and Riddle) vs. The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso (w/ Paul Heyman)): Six-Man Tag Team Match. Winners: The Bloodline!

Tonight wasn’t too bad. It was short. Only six matches. The Six-Man Tag Match wasn’t too bad, just wished for a different ending. I think the best matches of the night were the Rollins/Rhodes match, the Rosey/Flair match, and the Six-Max Tag match.

Although, there was a surprise, but yet, there wasn’t when Rhea Ripley became another acolyte of Edge to join Judgement Day. There were some talks, I guess, of someone joining Edge and Damian Priest, but never thought it would be Rhea. I think AJ and Finn will bring back the Bullet Club, or at least expand it.

It will be interesting to see what is next. The next event will be on June 5th, with it being “Hell in a Cell”! See you then!
