Here’s a List of People Who Should Guest Host Jeopardy

In case you’ve been living under a rock and didn’t know, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has been guest hosting Jeopardy for the last week and will do so again this week. Why? Well, Jeopardy needed someone to fill in and I guess they figured Rodgers would have February available to tape. Rodgers is a big fan of the show and competed, and won, on Celebrity Jeopardy. During one of his show openings, he said that the people that know and love him know not to call him when Jeopardy airs in Green Bay. I’d like to know who these people are; usually with Rodgers, it’s either one or the other. Rodgers said that he prepared for his guest hosting gig like he prepared for the Super Bowl, which I assume means that he called Charles Woodson and had him do all the heavy lifting. Rodgers hasn’t been half the host Ken Jennings was, but by this point, he should be used to coming up short to Seattle guys. On his first show, he got trolled epically by one of the contestants:

So that makes two games where that was the wrong answer. Anyway, since apparently, they’ll let anybody do this now, here’s some other guys who should guest host Jeopardy.

Jordan Love. Have him take over Wednesday. Out of spite, Rodgers goes to Wheel of Fortune.

Frank Caliendo, but every day he’s a different character. On John Madden day, the correct response to every clue is “Who is Brett Favre?”.

Will Ferrell, in character as Alex Trebek.

Charles Barkley. You know you want to see it.

Samuel L. Jackson, just to screw with the censors.

Donald Trump. He’s got plenty of time on his hands. Yeah, he’s wildly unqualified, but no more so than any other job he’s ever had.

Stone Cold Steve Austin. Because I said so.

Jeff Bridges. The Guest Host Abides.

The Rock. The jabroni-beating, answer-reading, trailblazing, eyebrow-raising, rules the iron, destroys cheat days, in the form of a question your response must be phrased people’s host.
