The Hawks seemed to have come up with a way to make up for missing Duncan Keith: just control the puck on offense. Florida did not help themselves here; they had someone in the sin bin for much of the final two periods. Bickell was a healthy scratch for this one. I have no idea why. He looked okay on the top line in the last couple games. (Crawford did register a point in this one, doing so before Bickell, so there’s that.) Tikhonov started in the lottery spot tonight. He probably shouldn’t have.
