Nashville got more shots, but the Hawks made theirs count. After a greasy goal late in the first by Shaw, the Hawks would add two in the second to take a 3-0 lead. Ribeiro then scored for Nashville and cut the lead to two on a goal that just can’t get in the net. Bad Corey. Then Good Corey returned and the Hawks held the lead at 2 for nearly 25 game minutes until Forsberg found a puck that Crawford couldn’t locate and swatted it out of thin air and into the net. Not going to blame Crawford much for that one, especially since he came up big on a last-second shot to seal the game for the Hawks, extend the winning streak to 8 and put Coach Q into a tie with Al Arbour for 2nd-most all-time wins.

My picks for 3 stars:

★★★ Brent Seabrook, D, CHI (1 G (GWG))

★★ Marian Hossa, RW, CHI (2 A)

★ Andrew Shaw, F, CHI (2 G)
