Michigan 38, Northwestern Donut – Rapid Reaction
- Updated: October 10, 2015
I’m running out of synonyms for “zero” to use in the titles of these. This is a good thing. It means Michigan has blanked another opponent, their third in a row. That has not happened in 35 years. I mean, I knew this defense was going to be good, but these guys are greatly exceeding expectations.
This was probably Rudock’s best game as a Wolverine, but the offense still has a little work to do. Rudock held onto the ball too long a couple times and some guys missed some cuts. There were plenty of positives, though: Rudock made some nice passes and De’Veon Smith did De’Veon Smith-type stuff before leaving the game limping a little bit. That seemed more a case of not wanting to risk a serious injury with a huge lead, but it’s worth keeping an eye on.
