Ohio State 42, Michigan 13 – Rapid Reaction
- Updated: November 28, 2015
You’d think after the Utah game, something would have been done to address problems against spread option offenses. And if not then, then after the Oregon State game where the Beavers marched down the field on their first drive. At the very least, something should have been done after the Indiana game. But nothing got fixed and it came back to bite them in a big way here. Not a great day from Durkin. Also, it didn’t help that the Ohio State that everyone expected them to be before the season started showed up for the first time all season here.
On offense for Michigan, they were just outmatched. They play calling was fine. Do not criticize the play calling here. If you are going to criticize the play calling, you must tell me what you expected Harbaugh to do. Rudock was good again. Smith was meh. Both were hurt by the fact that OSU’s D-line is better than Michigan’s O-line. Anyway, they’re 9-3 going into whatever bowl game they get, there’s talent coming back next year, and what should be a very good recruiting class coming in. Not bad for Harbaugh’s first year.
