Three best bets this week. We’ll lead off in Jacksonville, where the Jaguars find themselves leading the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes after the Jets pulled a huge upset last week in L.A. over the Rams. The Bears come to town having figured out their offense, scoring 30+ each of the past three weeks. While the Bears can’t afford to take the Jags lightly, I like the team competing for a playoff berth to cover 7.5 against a team that might not be too upset with a loss here and I’m making this my lock of the week.

Staying in the NFC North, the Packers welcome the Tennessee Titans to town Sunday night. The Packers have struggled to stop the run all year and will have their hands full with one of the best backs in the NFL, Derrick Henry. While Aaron Rodgers should be able to light it up against a Titans pass defense that ranks as one of the worst in the league in DVOA, ultimately, I’m rolling with Henry and the Titans on what looks to be a cold, snowy Wisconsin night.

Lastly, I like Indianapolis over Pittsburgh. The Steelers looked absolutely dreadful against the Bengals and have one fewer day to regroup. Just about everything Roethlisberger threw was in danger of getting picked or getting his receiver killed or both. The Colts beat a fishtailing Pittsburgh outfit.

Merry Christmas!
