NFL Picks: 2022 Week 3
- Updated: September 23, 2022
Last week: 5-11 ATS, 8-8 ML, 1-3 best bets, 1-0 lock of the week
Season: 10-22 ATS, 15-16-1 ML, 3-5 best bets, 1-1 lock of the week
Lines for this week’s NFL games come from FanDuel, and will continue to do so until a sportsbook gives us money to plug them. Lines marked with an asterisk are consensus lines because the game is not on the board at FanDuel at the time of writing. Bold indicates a best bet. Bold and italic indicates the lock of the week.
This week:
Four best bets again.
The Colts have looked awful thus far and now have to take on probably the second-best team in the league. KC -5.5 at IND.
The Eagles look like the best team in the NFC so far. Jalen Hurts looks legit. And it doesn’t matter what you call the guys in Washington, they’re still mediocre. PHI -6.5 at WAS.
After a week one handling of the Packers, the Vikings got absolutely dog walked by Philly. Detroit’s comeback against those Eagles fell just short in week one, and then last week, it looked like that wasn’t a fluke. Are they a contender? Not just yet. But at the very least, they don’t look like a punching bag. DET +5.5 at MIN.
And my lock of the week: LV -1.5 at TEN. The Titans are a mess right now. It should be Malik Willis time. But Malik Willis time means growing pains. Ryan Tannehill time just means pain. Yeah, the Raiders just blew a game against the Cardinals. I don’t think the Titans have the firepower to stage a similar comeback.
