UA-59049186-1 NFL Power Rankings: Week 6 - Good if it Goes

NFL Power Rankings: Week 6

  1. Vikings (5-0)
    • The Vikings are the last unbeaten team in the NFL and they look like the best team in the league not just in terms of record but play. Yea the offense isn’t great but the defense is playing at the highest level and they are excellent on special teams.
  2. Patriots (4-1)
    • Tom Brady is back, Gronk is back – what else really needs to be said here?
  3. Falcons (4-1)
    • I’ll openly admit to being completely shocked and wrong about the Falcons. I picked them to finish last in their division and after 5 weeks you could make a case they’re the best team in the league. The offense is fantastic and the defense is better than we thought.
  4. Broncos (4-1)
    • One loss to a very good team with your starting QB out is nothing to panic about. The Broncos are still a very good team and will be fine once Trevor returns.
  5.  Steelers (4-1)
    • The Steelers offense looks unstoppable with Bell back in the lineup and we know they’re defense can really stop the run but how will this secondary hold up against teams with good QB play?
  6. Seahawks (3-1)
    • The Seahawks got a much needed week off to get Russell Wilson healthy. The defense has been great all year and the offensive line seems to be playing a little better and if they can keep this up this team will be near the top of the standings all year.
  7. Packers (3-1)
    • For whatever reason, the Packers and more importantly Aaron Rodgers just haven’t looked quite right this year. But the Packers defense has played better than most expected this year and it’s helping keep them afloat.
  8. Cowboys (4-1)
    • HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!! Who would’ve guessed that after 5 games with Dez missing two games Romo playing in none they’d be sitting pretty at 4-1 and in 1st place in the division?
  9. Raiders (4-1)
    • The Raiders offense is proven to be 1 of the best in the league and their defense though not great, or even good they’ve been good enough. Carr has been a breakout player this year.
  10. Eagles (3-1)
    • The Eagles are better than we all thought but after the game against the Lions I think it’s time to slow the Eagles are elite conversation.
  11. Texans (3-2)
    • The Texans haven’t been overly impressive but I don’t think people should be too down on a team that’s only 2 loses came against the Pats and Vikings.
  12. Bills (3-2)
    • It’s crazy how a few weeks can completely change a narrative. It was time to fire Rex after an 0-2 start and since they’ve won 3 straight.
  13. Redskins (3-2)
    • The Redskins are another one of those teams that were written off after an 0-2 start and they responded with 3 straight wins including a very tough game last week against the Ravens.
  14. Ravens (3-2)
    • We knew the Ravens were no top notch team but they aren’t a bad team and they have been very good defensively so far this season.
  15. Chiefs (2-2)
    • Chiefs are coming off a bye week with a very tough test on the road against a red hot Oakland team. We’re going to find out if the Chiefs can stay in the race with the Broncos and Raiders.
  16.  Rams (3-2)
    • The LA Rams defense has been really good by and large this season but the QB situation is ultimately going to do this team in.
  17. Cardinals (2-3)
    • Fitzgerald somehow is still playing at an unbelievably high level and if Carson Palmer can get back and get back to playing well they can get things turned around.
  18. Giants (2-3)
    • The Giants offense just isn’t right and there’s been some questionable coaching decisions as well. They’re in danger of dwelling in the NFC East basement.
  19. Bengals (2-3)
    • The Bengals were shockingly outplayed by the Cowboys and now they are in desperate need of a win headed to New England for a tough matchup against the Pats.
  20. Lions (2-3)
    • The Lions have been up and down this year in typical Lions fashion. They’re not a good team but they’re not horrible either.
  21. Titans (2-3)
    • Demarco Murray looks like it’s 2014 and he’s back in Dallas the way he’s been running this season. The defense hasn’t been bad either. If the passing game can get it together the Titans could push for 1st place in a very weak division.
  22. Buccaneers (2-3)
    • It says a lot about the Bucs that it took a game winning FG to beat a reeling Panthers team without Cam Newton.
  23. Panthers (1-4)
    • The Panthers are in trouble but if Cam can get back and stop trotting into the end zone I think they have a chance to turn things around.
  24. Colts (2-3)
    • The Colts just aren’t a very good team. They were very fortunate to get an even worse Bears team but this week they have a huge Sunday night game against the Texans.
  25. Saints (1-3)
    • The Saints desperately need to turn things around after a 1-3 start but they’re going to be playing against a desperate Panthers team at home this Sunday.
  26. Jaguars (1-3)
    • Was the Jags week 4 performance a product of playing the Colts or just them finally getting their act together? We’ll find out as they prepare to play an even worse Bears team fresh off a bye.
  27. Jets (1-4)
    • The Jets QB situation is just a disaster. And as bad as Fitzpatrick has been the alternative options are so much worse they’re not even considering benching him yet.
  28. Chargers (1-4)
    • Just off they’re play one could make the case they should be higher. Honestly they may be playing at a higher level than any other one loss team in the league. But the combination of all the injuries and this team continuing to give away games they should lose just tells me this isn’t a team that believes it can win right now.
  29. Bears (1-4)
    • Reports are that the Bears are officially done with Cutler. Let the rebuild begin as the Bears march towards a top 5 selection in next year’s draft.
  30. Dolphins (1-4)
    • The Dolphins aren’t playing well on defense and Tannehill looks like one of the worst QBs in the NFL and on top of all that they have no running game. Nothing is going right for this team.
  31. 49ers (1-4)
    • The 49ers have made the decision to turn to Colin Kaepernick as their starting QB, maybe that’ll help this team get things turned around.
  32. Browns (0-5)
    • If things weren’t bad enough with the Browns with their best two receivers and best two QBs being out, now the 3rd string QB is hurt.
