The Game

I’ll admit it – when Carson Wentz went down, I thought Philly’s chances of reaching the Super Bowl were sunk. Then they got by Atlanta. Then they whomped the Vikings. And now they’re here. And we should probably quit doubting Nick Foles. As well as he’s played though, the other side has the league’s MVP, Tom Brady. And that’s the difference here. The Eagles are the more talented team on paper. Their defense has been very impressive, their O-line has been strong, even in the absence of Jason Peters, and they’ve got plenty of talented backs and receivers. The Eagles can win this game if that defense goes to work and makes Brady uncomfortable – the New England O-line is going to need to be on their game. At the end of the day, I’m not going against the GOAT.
