UA-59049186-1 Super Bowl LIII Prop Bets Picks - Good if it Goes

Super Bowl LIII Prop Bets Picks

Full list is here.

How long will it take for Gladys Knight to sing the US National Anthem?

Over/Under 1 minute 50 seconds

**From moment she starts singing until the note “Brave” ends for first time.

I was able to find only one instance of Gladys singing the anthem. It’s from 1991 and she went 1:32. I think she’ll put on a little more of a show at the Super Bowl than she did in the video I found, but she’d have to really embellish to hit the over.

The pick: Under.

Will any scoring drive take less time than it takes Gladys Knight to sing the National Anthem?

Yes +150 (3/2)
No -200 (1/2)

I don’t understand how “No” is the favorite here. There are all sorts of scenarios that could lead to a scoring drive in under two minutes, give or take.

The pick: Yes.

Maroon 5 Songs Sung at Halftime

Over/Under 4

They’ll have a few of their own before Travis Scott and Big Boi come out and then I would imagine at least a couple with them.

The pick: Over.

Will Maroon 5 Sing “Sunday Morning” at Halftime?

Yes +110 (11/10)
No -150 (2/3)

“Girls Like You” will be one of their songs because that’s their big hit currently. “Moves Like Jagger” will be one of the songs they play. “Makes Me Wonder” was their first #1 single and seems like a song that fits the Super Bowl halftime show. How many more could they do? And it would seem to be that “Sunday Morning” would be kinda far down the list of songs they’d want to get in.

The pick: No.

Will “Greatest of All Time” be Mentioned in Broadcast?

Yes EVEN (1/1)
No -140 (5/7)

Will Bill Belichick be Referred to as a “Genius”?

Yes +120 (6/5)
No -160 (5/8)

**Note: From kickoff until final whistle, halftime does not count

Will Belichick and McVay Age Gap be mentioned during the game broadcast?

Yes -200 (1/2)
No +150 (3/2)

Will Brady and Goff Age Gap be mentioned during the game broadcast?

Yes -200 (1/2)
No +150 (3/2)

**Note: From kickoff until final whistle, halftime does not count

Tony Romo might knock out these four himself in the first quarter.

The picks: Yes on all 4.

Will LAR/NO Pass Interference Call be shown During the Game?

Yes +200 (2/1)
No -300 (1/3)

**Note: From kickoff until final whistle, halftime does not count

Mentioned? Probably. Shown? Nope.

The pick: No.

What color will the liquid be that is poured on the game winning Coach?

Clear/Water 5/2
Yellow 3/1
Blue 4/1
Orange 4/1
Red 6/1
Green/Line 7/1
Purple 9/1

**Note: Must be clearly shown on TV.

The Rams haven’t been here under McVay before. The Pats’ five wins under Belichick have seen 2 clear, 1 yellow, 1 blue, and in Super Bowl 51, there wasn’t a Gatorade shower shown on TV because the Pats won on a TD in OT.

The pick: Clear/water

First Doritos Commercial Color of Bag

Red 3/2
Blue 7/4
Purple 3/1
Yellow 7/1
Other 5/1

I know I’m picking a lot of favorites here, but the only way it isn’t red is if they’re introducing a new flavor in the commercial.

The pick: Red.

Donald Trump Tweets Feb 3rd

Over/Under 5

Guy can’t stand not being the center of attention.

The pick: Over.

Any Member of Winning Team to Visit White House

Yes -200 (1/2)
No +150 (3/2)

I didn’t see a prop for “Will the Government be open when the winning team visits?” but my guess would be no, so hope you guys like cold Big Macs.

The pick: Yes.

Household Share Nielsen Ratings

Over/Under 71.5

The last two Super Bowls were 70 and 68. Don’t think the Rams move the needle to 72.

The pick: Under.

And lastly, these aren’t really props, but let’s talk about the game itself.

Both teams possess top 5 offenses and middle-of-the-pack defenses. The Rams do rank in the top 10 in pass defense DVOA (#9), but their run defense is all the way down at 28. The Rams’ defensive DVOA numbers are kind of similar to the Chiefs’ (#12 pass, #32 run), who the Pats’ offense just handled. The Pats do a good job of getting the ball out quickly, so that should lessen the threat Aaron Donald presents a little bit. And let’s face it: the Rams are pretty fortunate to be here. That was an atrocious non-call. I don’t doubt that they can hang with the Patriots, but this looks like it will be the 6th Super Bowl win for Brady and Belichick.

The picks: NE -2.5, Over 56.5.
