UA-59049186-1 Blackhawks 2, Predators 1 - Good if it Goes

Blackhawks 2, Predators 1

Box score (ESPN)

The Blackhawks came out of the break strong, earning two points against a good Nashville team. The Hawks got on the board first on a goal from David Kampf early in the first and played well the rest of the period, but one was all they would get. Kyle Turris scored for Nashville early in the second, after which both teams exchanged chances, but no goals. That is, until Vinnie Hinostroza scored off a great pass from Nick Schmaltz set up by Patrick Kane. Hinostroza’s tally would be the last one in the frame. The third period went back-and-forth until Ryan Hartman took a penalty just under 12 minutes in, after which Nashville began to dictate the action. However, the Hawks were able to hold onto the lead and come away with two points.
