The Hawks were good, Rinne was better. The Hawks got plenty of looks, outshooting Nashville in every period, but unfortunately for the Blackhawks, Pekka Rinne picked tonight to stand on his head. If he hadn’t, the Hawks probably win by a score of something like 5-2. Toews, in particular, was robbed about a half-dozen times. Crawford let in one bad one and the GWG probably wasn’t his fault, but he still hasn’t looked quite at the top of his game lately.
My picks for 3 stars:
★★★ Brent Seabrook, D, CHI (1 G)
★★ Mike Fisher, C, NSH (2 A)
★ Pekka Rinne, G, NSH (38 SV, 1 GA)
