The Blackhawks played a lousy, sloppy game at home against their biggest traditional rival, who is in the middle of a very mediocre season. There was a stretch in the second where they were only down 2-0 and sort of threatened to make it a game. Otherwise, this was all Detroit. The break is coming at a good time for the Hawks.
