WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 Results

Good afternoon, everyone (or evening, depending on where you are), and welcome to the “WWE Elimination Chamber” from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  Tonight, there will be two Elimination Chamber matches, and four championship matches, including both the WWE and Universal Championships. Also, note, there won’t be, if any, final thoughts on this event. That being said, let’s get going.

  1. The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio (w/ Dominik Mysterio). Winner: Rey Mysterio!
  2. Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns (w/ Paul Heyman): WWE Universal Championship. Winner and STILL Universal Champion (via TKO): Roman Reigns!
  3. Nikki A. S. H. (Eliminated 1st by Rhea Ripley) vs. Alexa Bliss (Eliminated 5th by Bianca Belair) vs. Rhea Ripley (Eliminated 4th by Bianca Belair) vs. Doudrop (Eliminated 2nd by Liv Morgan) vs. Bianca Belair vs. Liv Morgan (Eliminated 3rd by Alexa Bliss): Women’s Elimination Chamber Match. Winner and going to “Wrestlemania”: Bianca Belair!
  4. Sonya Deville and Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey and Naomi. Winners by submission: Ronda Rousey and Naomi!
  5. Madcap Moss (w/ Happy Corbin) vs. Drew McIntyre: Falls Count Anywhere Match. Winner: Drew McIntyre!
  6. Lita vs. Becky Lynch: WWE Raw Women’s Championship. Winner and STILL Raw Women’s Champion: Becky Lynch!
  7. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs. The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar): WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championships. No Contest
  8. AJ Styles (Eliminated 4th by Brock Lesnar) vs. Riddle (Eliminated 3rd by Brock Lesnar) vs. Austin Theory (Eliminated 5th by Brock Lesnar) vs. Seth “Freakin'” Rollins (Eliminated 2nd by Brock Lesnar) vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley (w/ MVP) (Unable to compete (Eliminated 1st)): Men’s Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship. Winner and NEW WWE Champion: Brock Lesnar!

There isn’t much to talk about here. Bianca earned her way to “Wrestlemania” to face Becky, which could be a great match. Sure, it would’ve been nice to see Lita win one more championship, but probably wasn’t going to happen.  Now to address the glaringly obvious thing. Brock Lesnar won the WWE Championship in the Elimination Chamber.  As soon as he entered into it, you knew he was going to win. Not only did he win the Royal Rumble match, to go to “Wrestlemania”, but he had to go and win this match as well. And, that, sets up a Winner-Take-All Match for both, the WWE and Universal Championships at “Wrestlemania”, when Lesnar challenges Reigns.  Now, it will be interesting to see how Heyman will play a role. But, we shall see.  “Wrestlemania 38” will be from April 2-3 from Dallas, Texas. See you then!
