Well. What can be said? Tonight, started strong, and there were ups and downs. Another roller coaster when it came to the matches. Some better than others. We got some new champions. Congratulations to The New Day being six time Tag Team Champions. Congratulations to AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura on winning their championships. You know who I don’t congratulate? Brock Lesnar. I get it. Its Philidelphia. The birthplace of ECW. Paul Heyman had to make an appearance and talk another riddle. Only, this riddle, or spoiler had an answer, or had come true. True to his word, Brock Lesnar cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Seth Rollins and won the WWE Universal Championship. What was the WWE thinking? Nobody really wants Lesnar being the champion. As he doesn’t act like one. You can’t be called “defending” if you don’t show up to defend it, or at least show up and wrestle, on a weekly basis. That’s not what a champion does. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Goldberg…everyone that has held that championship showed up weekly. They made that championship relevant. They made that mean something. Now…Now that Lesnar has it again, for the third time I might add, who knows when we will see it again. Summerslam? Survivor Series? Not until next years Wrestlemania?!

But, emotions aside.. I get it. Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar are doing their jobs. And, they are good at it. But, if the WWE wants to build up their fan base more, and stay on top, they have to do better than having Lesnar as Universal Champion. Or, at least force him to show up weekly, and actually defend it. Having the United States Championship being the “Main” Championship, or the Intercontinental Championship, depending which show you are on, on your “Flagship” show, doesn’t look good.  Speaking of SummerSlam, that takes place on August, 18th in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. See you all then!
