WWE Great Balls of Fire 2017 Results
- Updated: July 9, 2017
Hello, Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to Dallas, TX and to the first ever “Great Balls of Fire” Pay-Per-View! Tonight, there is the Cruiserweight Championship, the Universal Championship, Intercontinental and the Raw Women’s Championship on the line. As well, as a 30-minute Ironman Tag Team match for the Raw Tag Team Championship and an Ambulance Match. Should be good. Should be interesting. So, with that said, let’s get going!
- Neville vs Akira Tozawa: WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Winner and STILL Cruiserweight Champion: Neville!
- Bray Wyatt vs Seth Rollins: Winner via Sister Abigail: Bray Wyatt!
- Enzo Amore vs Big Cass: Winner via Big Boot: Big Cass!
- Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff Hardy) vs Sheamus and Cesaro: WWE Raw Tag Team Championships: 30-Minute Ironman Match: Winners by a score of 4-3 and STILL Raw Tag Team Champions: Sheamus and Cesaro!
- Sasha Banks vs Alexa Bliss: WWE Raw Women’s Championship: Winner via Count Out: Sasha Banks. However, STILL Raw Women’s Champion: Alexa Bliss!
- The Miz w/ Maryse and The Miztourage (Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas) vs Dean Ambrose: WWE Intercontinental Championship: Winner via the Skull Crushing Finale and, STILL Intercontinental Champion: The Miz!
- Braun Strowman vs Roman Reigns: Ambulance Match. Winner: Braun Strowman!
- Curt Hawkins vs Heath Slater: Winner: Heath Slater!
- Samoa Joe vs Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman: WWE Universal Championship: Winner via F-5 and STILL Universal Champion: Brock Lesnar!
Oh wow! After the Ambulance Match, with Strowman inside the back of the ambulance, Reigns drove it to the parking lot, and backed it up into a semi. Emergency personnel used the Jaws-of-Life to open the door and Strowman stumbled out, refusing medical help. Overall the night was an exciting one. The 30-Minute Ironman Match was amazing! The Univeral Championship match was a bit lackluster, but it s what it is. Despite that and, the results weren’t what I was expecting but, I guess that makes for good television. If the Strowman incident was a work, it was a very believable one. In two weeks, July 23rd, Smackdown has “Battleground”, with their Main Event, the Punjabi Prison Match between Jinder Mahal and Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. I hope its a good one! Til then, everyone!
