My thoughts for the night…it was up and down. There were some good matches i.e. Rollins/Ziggler, Gulk/Alexander and Hardy/Nakamura. There were some squash matches that were just hilarious. Braun/KO, Demon/Constable, even Ronda/Bliss. And, then there are the matches that shouldn’t have ended in disqualification. The Bryan/Miz match was decent, until the finish. Reminds me of when William Regal wrestled.  I love Ronda Rousey and, I’m glad she won, however, I was hoping for a bit more offense from Alexa Bliss.  The heel turn by Becky Lynch by attacking Charlotte took me by surprise. Got the wrong fan reaction but, a nice surprise.  We get to the final match of the night, the Reigns/ Lesnar match for the Universal Championship.  At first, I thought it was going to be another quick match, ala Goldberg style. Even, when Braun Strowman came back out, I thought he was either putting himself in the match to make it a Triple-Threat, or cash in. Well, he didn’t. Nice tease and, it was nice to finally not see Brock Lesnar as champion. What kind of company let their champion show up whenever they want? It was beginning to look bad and, finally a champion that will be there week after week, and represent the company. Now, the question is.. when will Strowman cash in? As you know he is going to be furious.

At any point, the “Biggest Party of the Summer” has come to a close, and its time to start preparing for “Hell in a Cell” and, it will take place Sept. 16th in San Antonio! See ya then!
