Wow! Just wow! Tonight was really good. All the matches were pretty decent, other than maybe one, the Women’s Tag Team Championship match, in that the WWE is acting like they don’t know what to do with it, and that’s including the Men’s side as well. But, I digress. Seeing Hulk Hogan come out and help get the show started was a good surprise. Seeing Ric Flair help out Triple H was almost predictable but, also a good surpise.

Elias performing, was pretty cool, then “Old School” John Cena came out to do a rap, and while that could’ve been left off, it wasn’t too bad. Congratulations to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2019. It is well deserved.  The main event was definately special, even if the ending was controversial. I think the finish of the match was supposed to be different. However, it’s not the first time a mistake was made, and definately not the last. Seeing Becky Lynch finally get her due for all the hard work was worth it. Speaking of hard work, how about Kofi Kingston? It was a clean finish and he definately deserved the Championship. I’m just surprised that it didn’t come sooner. Here’s hoping that “Kofimania” keeps running wild for a long time.

If there is one main complaint I have, and probably the 82,000 and all the people watching at home around the world have as well, is that “Wrestlemania” is just too long. And, I get it. It’s the main show. The one show to showcase your skill and remember for the rest of your life. But, having the show six and a half hours is just too long. I think maybe an hour, maybe two could be shaved off, or at least trim the matches down a bit, but, I don’t know.

Tonight also showed the last time for Kurt Angle being a performer, as well as Batista. Batista will move on and continue to do movies, while Kurt will move to the back and keep things in line. Also, probably won’t see Ronda Rousey for a while, as she is rumored to want to start a family. Whether you loved them or hated them, they will be missed. The next event will be “Money in the Bank” and, that will on May 19th, 2019. The next “Wrestlemania”, “Wrestlemania 36”, will be in Tampa Bay.

All in all, despite a few minor gripes, tonight was electric and can’t wait to see how the upcoming year will hold. Til I see you in May, take care, everyone!
