Ladies and Gentlemen, the Weekend

It’s Friday and you know what that means!

“No we don’t.”

Okay, but you’re about to.

Welcome to the weekend, ladies and gentlemen. A year ago, the sports world had just shut down and it would be months before we got them back. While we’re still not back to normal, with raucous standing room only crowds, we’ve at least got sports on TV. Let’s never take that for granted again.

What happened this week

What’s Going On covered Dak Prescott’s new contract, ESPN getting back into the NHL, and an upcoming NFL TV deal that could be worth roughly a bazillion dollars.

Duke’s basketball season is over after a positive COVID test.

The CFL and XFL discussed a potential collaboration. We’ll cover this one in more detail next week.

The Texans hung David Culley out to dry at his press conference.
