Thank You For Your Irrelevant Opinion

Allow me to beg your indulgence for one moment. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to this installment of

Yeah, if your dad played in the NBA, you never amount to much yourself. Like Al Horford and Kevin Love. They’re awful. Or that Pete Maravich* guy. Boy, he really sucked, didn’t he?

*Pete Maravich’s father, Press, played in the National Basketball League and the Basketball Association of America, which eventually merged to form the NBA.

Rasheed was definitely a more complete player than Dirk is. I mean except for how Dirk’s a better shooter. And scorer. And rebounder…

Yeah, this was a really stupid tweet.

And, this round’s champion…

Story time. BSO was actually what inspired Qwan to start this blog. He had written on the last blog I had started, but with hardly anybody writing and no way to make any money on the site, the blog never really went anywhere. Eventually, I stopped writing there, too. A few months later, BSO had a really stupid story that had nothing to do with sports (typical day at BSO). I don’t remember what the story was, but it sparked a conversation about the need for a real sports blog, and a little while later, Good If It Goes was born.

But anyway, back to the tweet. No, Robert, or Kel, or whoever wasted their time writing this nonsense, underwater stadiums are not the future of sports.

Tomorrow on BSO: “Will The Moon Get An NFL Franchise?”

So, BSO, thank you for your irrelevant opinion!

Join us again next time, as we continue to mock stupid tweets. You’re welcome.
