Even The Weather Is Mad Roman Reigns Won The Royal Rumble

So, this week Monday Night Raw will air on Thursday night due to the blizzard about to hit the northeast. WWE is in Hartford, Connecticut. Tonight, they will air a show of some sort from corporate headquarters in Stamford.

A couple questions here:

1. If Raw is going to be on Thursday, why not just call it SmackDown and build up the SmackDown brand a little bit?

2. Was there really no plan B? Does nobody at WWE watch The Weather Channel? How could they have not known this was a possibility? There’s nothing going on at the Wells Fargo Center tonight. The Flyers play tomorrow, but I have to imagine that they could get the arena ready for the game even if they had had Raw there tonight. Now, after last night, I can understand wanting to get out of Philadelphia as fast as possible, but airing Raw from there seems better from not airing it at all. Or, another option, get everyone down to Florida and broadcast Raw from Full Sail University.
