Futures NFL Bet: Washington Redskins Team Total

Every summer, I make a number of futures bets in the NFL and the very first one I fired on this year is the Redskins UNDER 7.5 wins. Last year, they won the NFC East and people seem to be convinced they are the class of the division now. I couldn’t disagree more. This team is a fraud; they went 9-7 in what was a horrible division and they did not beat a single team with a winning record all season! The schedule was weak – they only played two teams that made the playoffs and got blown out by both (Carolina by 30, Patriots by 17) not to mention getting blown out by the Packers at home in the playoffs. The number is lined at 7.5 and I find a lot of value here considering I have them at 5-7 wins. As soft as the schedule was for the Skins last year, this year’s couldn’t be much tougher with games at Baltimore, Detroit, Cincy, and Arizona and home games against Minnesota, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, and Carolina. A stat that really jumps out to me is that the Skins outscored their opponents last year by a whole 9 points, which is horrible considering the weakness of their division and overall schedule. That stat screams regression is coming and I highly advise you to fire a bet on the UNDER 7.5 wins.
