That was ugly and Rudock got hurt, but we got the Jug back and we’re bowl eligible and we couldn’t say either of those things last year. The pass defense outside of Lewis wasn’t very good. It’s never been particularly great, but when the line isn’t constantly in the QB’s face and the QB in question is capable of making passes, the defensive deficiencies can really hurt. I’ll talk more about that and the QBs in the recap during the week. Hopefully we’ll know more about Rudock’s status by then. For now, I’ll just put this tweet from Brian Cook of MGoBlog up:
