USC’s Alijah Vera-Tucker is capable of playing both tackle and guard; your author evaluated him as a guard. This versatility should help him see the field and contribute early. Outside of the Trojan, there isn’t much day 1 talent in this year’s draft class. Alabama’s Landon Dickerson could be intriguing to someone late in the 1st round, but really day 2 should be the day for interior linemen. Wisconsin-Whitewater’s Quinn Meinerz is a prospect with a ton of physical potential who really helped his stock at the Senior Bowl. In addition to a player with a ton of upside, whoever drafts him is getting a real character. Illinois’ Kendrick Green is another high-upside prospect to keep an eye on on day two.
