2020 NFL Draft: Big Board – Offensive Tackle
- Updated: April 23, 2020
Rank | Player | School | Grade |
1 | Jedrick Wills, Jr. | Alabama | Top 10 |
2 | Mekhi Becton | Louisville | Top 10 |
3 | Tristan Wirfs | Iowa | Mid 1st |
4 | Andrew Thomas | Georgia | Late 1st |
5 | Austin Jackson | USC | 1st-2nd |
6 | Josh Jones | Houston | Early 2nd |
7 | Isaiah Wilson | Georgia | Early 2nd |
8 | Lucas Niang | TCU | 3rd |
9 | Prince Tega Wanogho | Auburn | 3rd |
10 | Ezra Cleveland | Boise State | 3rd |
This is a strong tackle class with seven players receiving 1st or 2nd-round grades. Alabama’s Wills is at the top of the class, with Becton not far behind. Becton is a freakish athlete for his immense size (6’7, 370). He did have a positive drug test at the Combine; hopefully, for his sake, that doesn’t hurt him too much. Iowa’s Wirfs is probably better suited to the right side of the line, as he’s a better run blocker than pass blocker. Ditto Georgia’s Isaiah Wilson.
