UA-59049186-1 NFL Power Rankings: Week 7 - Good if it Goes

NFL Power Rankings: Week 7

Forrest is off this week, so I’m handling this week’s rankings.

1.Patriots (5-1)

My biggest question about this team going into the season was the O-line; I thought it was going to keep them from being one of the very top teams in the NFL. It has not.

2. Vikings (5-0)

The defense has been great and Sam Bradford has been more than good enough. Will that continue? Dunno. For now, they look like one of the NFL’s elite.

3. Cowboys (5-1)

Prescott’s been a great surprise for the Cowboys. This sure looks like the end of Romo’s run in Dallas.

4. Seahawks (4-1)

Really hitting their groove.

5. Falcons (4-2)

Matt Ryan and the Atlanta offense have been excellent thus far.

6. Broncos (4-2)

There’s a lot of talent in Denver, but one can’t help but wonder if less-than-ideal QB play will keep them from a serious shot at repeating as champs.

7. Bills (4-2)

Buffalo’s rolling – 4 straight wins and a league-best +59 in net scoring.

8. Steelers (4-2)

They just suffered a bad loss and now Roethlisberger is out for a few weeks. Keep an eye on them.

9. Chiefs (3-2)

Going to be a battle for the AFC West crown.

10. Raiders (4-2)

Young talent coming together. In the negatives in point differential, though.

11. Redskins (4-2)

Rolling after a tough start.

12. Packers (3-2)

Offense hasn’t looked as good as years past.

13. Eagles (3-2)

Stagnating after a fast start.

14. Texans (4-2)

Nice comeback win over the Colts, but why were you down that much to the Colts?

15. Bengals (2-4)

All four losses to teams I have in the top 10.

16. Ravens (3-3)

Defense has played well. Offense has been meh.

tshirt-ad

17. Cardinals (3-3)

Two of their three losses are to teams I have in my top 10. However, all of their wins are over bums.

18. Giants (3-3)

Their defense looked quite good early, but they have allowed at least 23 points in four straight.

19. Saints (2-3)

Putting it together after an 0-3 start.

20. Chargers (2-4)

Finally didn’t collapse late in a game.

21. Lions (3-3)

Haven’t played an overly-tough schedule thus far and went only 3-3 against it.

22. Rams (3-3)

Looks to be another Jeff Fisher special.

23. Titans (3-3)

Have yet to beat anyone good, but have yet to lose to anyone bad.

24. Dolphins (2-4)

I know they just handled Pittsburgh, but I’m not buying in just yet.

25. Buccaneers (2-3)

Looked very good against Atlanta week one, but haven’t replicated it since

26. Panthers (1-5)

Offense putting points on the board every other week, but defense not doing their job.

27. Jaguars (2-3)

Winners of two straight…over the Colts and Bears.

28. Colts (2-4)

Would be 0-6 if not for late collapses by the Bears and Chargers.

29. Bears (1-5)

Lost two straight because they couldn’t finish.

30. 49ers (1-5)

Whomped LA week one, then lost 5 straight games by 19, 19, 7, 12, and 29.

31. Jets (1-5)

After putting 37 on Buffalo, they’ve scored 36 in the four weeks since.

32. Browns (0-6)

Bad even by Browns standards.
