Blackhawks 3, Sharks 1
- Updated: February 23, 2018
The Blackhawks have their first winning streak of February after dispatching the San Jose Sharks Firday night on home ice. The game was pretty even during the first two periods, with just one goal scored by Jan Rutta. Nick Schmaltz extended the lead to 2-0 2:01 into the third off a brilliant pass from Anthony Duclair. After that, the Sharks began to get the better of the action. The Sharks would get one of their own from Timo Meier, but good defense and good goaltending from Chicago kept them from finding the equalizer.
My picks for 3 stars
★★★ Anthony Duclair, LW, CHI (2 A)
★★ Nick Schmaltz, F, CHI (1 G (GWG), 1 A)
★ Jean-Francois Berube, G, CHI (42 SV, 1 GA)
