The Hawks controlled the action for much of the game, and kept Vancouver from ever getting much going. All four lines played well. Turbo’s really settling in at 1LW. The Shake An Bake line is doing what they do; Kane’s point streak is up to 26 now, so he’s ahead of Crosby. Rusmussen has had a couple of nice games now, and was particularly good in this one. Bickell’s been solid since coming back up. Shaw still takes too many penalties, but has otherwise been very good as of late. The fourth line is starting to gel. The defense was great. So was Crawford. I didn’t really understand playing Rundblad and Daley together, since they’re both more offensive defensemen, but it worked out fine.
My picks for 3 stars:
★★★ Duncan Keith, D, CHI (1 G, GWG)
★★ Dennis Rasmussen, C, CHI (1 G, 1 A)
★ Corey Crawford, G, CHI (30 SV, SO)
