Another fine win; this makes 10 in a row now for the Hawks. What’s really stood out during this run has been the defense and goaltending. The Hawks have done a great job of limiting opportunities for their opponents, so even on nights where they’re not playing their best hockey offensively, 2 might be good enough to win. Darling gave up one on a shot on which he took a bad angle. Otherwise, he was spectacular. Kane had perhaps his best game in a season that’s had a lot of great ones, recording a hat trick and an assist.
