Another great win for the Hawks. They set a franchise winning streak record and were able to do it on home-away-from-home ice. By the way, Nashville, maybe worry less about keeping Hawks fans out of your building and more about keeping pucks out of your net. If you guys actually had fans, Hawks fans wouldn’t be able to come down and turn games into home games for the Hawks. You should consider yourselves lucky that Hawks fans grace your city with their presence. And, by the way, country music sucks.
Anyway, as for the game itself, the Predators started out strong, but nothing got past Crawford. Late in the period, the Hawks got some great chances of their own and started the scoring in the last 30 seconds of the period when the Shake An Bake line did what the Shake An Bake line does. From there, chances were a bit more even, but All-Star goalie Pekka Rinne continued to struggle. Seriously, why is he an All-Star. Give the spot to Crawford or Allen so the Central can have a chance in this thing.
My picks for 3 stars:
★★★ Artemi Panarin, LW, CHI (2 A)
★★ Corey Crawford, G, CHI (38 SV, 1 GA)
★ Patrick Kane, RW, CHI (1 G, 1 A)
