Blackhawks 5, Kings 3
- Updated: March 3, 2018
The Blackhawks struck first on a very nice goal from Jordan Oesterle and took a 1-0 lead into the first intermission. The second period was all Kings as this game looked like it was going to go the way so many others have went this season. The Kings scored three in the period as the Hawks got sloppy on defense. The Hawks would fight their way back, though tying the game, taking the lead, and then putting an exclamation point on the game with an empty netter with 3 seconds to go. All four Hawks goals in the third came in the second half of the period.
My picks for 3 stars
★★★ Alex Iafallo, C, LA (1 G)
★★ Patrick Kane, RW, CHI (1 G, 2 A)
★ Jonathan Toews, C, CHI (1 G (GWG), 2 A)
