Another flat performance by the Blackhawks. Anaheim mostly controlled the action, a lot of the game was spent in the Chicago end, and the Ducks outshot the Hawks by a pretty good margin. The Hawks struggled to get shots on goal and when they got them, many weren’t good looks. The defense was less-than-spectacular. Crawford was mostly good, though I wasn’t too happy with him after the Perron goal. Hossa left after a hip check in the second and didn’t return; the only info out there right now is “lower body injury.” We’ll see what his situation is before discussing what the impact will be.
My picks for 3 stars:
★★★ David Perron, LW, ANA (1 G)
★★ Ryan Getzlaf, C, ANA (1 G (GWG), 1 A)
★ Brent Seabrook, D, CHI (2 G)
