Well, at least in this bad game, they made Carolina earn it. The Hawks got some good looks, Lack made some great saves. The Hawks had great opportunities, multiple pucks bounced the wrong way. I mean, that’s hockey, but that was an awful lot of bad luck for one team in one game. Crawford let in two bad goals, but made a few great saves, so I guess he pretty much evened out. A lot of the forwards played very good hockey. Turbo maybe didn’t have the best game, but even he was okay. The fourth line of Desjardins, Danault, and Garbutt was outstanding.
My picks for 3 stars:
★★★ Andrew Shaw, F, CHI (1 A)
★★ Eddie Lack, G, CAR (35 SV, 1 GA)
★ Jeff Skinner, LW, CAR (2 A)
