This Week’s Top 10: Best Hockey Sweaters
- Updated: December 23, 2015
We don’t ignore hockey here like some places do (lookin’ at you, tWWL), so even though it’s pretty warm here in Chicagoland for December, we decided to get in the winter spirit and compose a list of the ten best sweaters in the NHL.
Okay, by “we,” I mean “I,” because nobody else here watches hockey. *shakes fist at the rest of our writers*
So, here’s my list:
There were no other voters, so there were no others to receive votes. Here are a few honorable mentions, though: Dallas Stars, Philadelphia Flyers, Minnesota Wild, San Jose Sharks.
The Hawks and Habs are self-explanatory. I like the Devils’ pattern and crest. Then, the rest of the Original Six is also self-explanatory. The Sens’ third sweater got them on the list. If those were the sweaters they wore all the time, they’d be #3. Calgary’s got 3 great sweaters. I like the pattern on all of Carolina’s, although I’m not a huge fan of the crest on their third sweater. The Ducks would be on the list if they used the Wildwing crest for all their sweaters, even if they didn’t go back to their old colors.
