This is a good Dallas team and a pathetic effort by the Hawks. Yeah, it was their eighth game in 13 nights, but still, you’ve got to be better than this. In the second period, the Hawks got out to a fast start and ended up with 14 shots total. In the other two periods, they had a total of six. That just can’t happen. None of the goals were totally on Crawford. Sharp’s was one that can’t go in; Konroyd pointed out on the postgame how he was too deep in the paint. Crawford had a chance at all of them, though, except maybe the one off Rozsvial’s skate. This wasn’t really his fault, but he wasn’t great.
