Jets 4, Blackhawks 0
- Updated: November 16, 2016
A major clunker for the Blackhawks to kick off what looks to be the last circus trip. The Hawks looked a step slow and Corey Crawford didn’t have it. Josh Morrissey got the scoring started for Winnipeg just under six-and-a-half minutes in. The Hawks would keep it a one-goal game until the third, which saw a goal from Chris Thorburn that just can’t go in and two goals later in the period that came 11 seconds apart. After that, Scott Darling came in and played pretty well. More Darling, please. Crawford’s been great, but he can’t play every game.
A few things
- It was a bad game.
- Do you really want to spend more time discussing this game?
- Me neither.
My picks for 3 stars
★★★ Nikolaj Ehlers, RW, WPG (2 A)
★★ Chris Thorburn, RW, WPG (1 G)
★ Connor Hellebuyck, G, WPG (27 SV, SO)
