The Blackhawks put themselves behind the eight ball early, allowing the Blues to go up 2-0. They battled back and swung the momentum in their favor, but around the midway point of the second, the Blues swung it back. St. Louis took the lead eight-and-a –half minutes into the third and then started playing like an extended penalty kill. The Hawks would get a few good looks, including a double post by Seabrook, but the Blues played stifling defense and were able to hang onto their lead to win the series.
My picks for 3 stars:
★★★ Jori Lehtera, C, STL (1 G)
★★ Marian Hossa, RW, CHI (1 G)
★ Troy Brouwer, RW, STL (1 G (GWG))
