CFB Picks: 2022 Week 9
- Updated: October 28, 2022

Last week: 2-1, Season: 20-18
Lines for this week’s CFB picks are from FanDuel and will continue to be until a sportsbook wants to give us money to plug them. FanDuel isn’t giving us any money, but we used DraftKings last year and they didn’t give us any money, either, so now it’s FanDuel’s turn. Really, you should shop around for the best lines and prices. We’re using FanDuel here for the sake of consistency.
Baylor +2.5 at Texas Tech
I like the Bears outright here. S&P+ does, too. The fine folks at Fanduel are giving you an extra 2.5 if you’re not adventurous enough to bet the moneyline.
Oklahoma State +1.5 at Kansas State
Welcome to this week’s edition of Oklahoma State not getting the credit they deserve. I told you they were going to beat Texas last week. Now I;m telling you they’re gonna beat Kansas State.
Temple +14.5 at Navy
Now that this has crossed 14, I think the Owls are a worthy play. I don’t have faith in Navy covering this spread. Neither does S&P+.
Ohio State -14.5 at Penn State
It’s not a whiteout. James Franklin’s an idiot. I don’t think Penn State’s really that good. And I don’t think Ohio State is going to be challenged until Football Armageddon III in November. None of this week’s games should be big plays to me, but this one could be a little bigger if it crosses 14.
