Royal Rumble Winner: Randy Orton!
Final Thoughts: This year’s Royal Rumble I thought was really good. The championship match between John Cena and AJ Styles was incredible as both used moves that nobody expected, and saw Cena tie the record helb by Ric Flair. Makes me wonder if he is going to break it. The Royal Rumble match itself was good, although, I would have liked to see Kane make an appearance, but I understand because of the number of “huge men” in the match. The elimination of Goldberg by the Undertaker makes me think that there may be a Wrestlemania match between the two.
All in all I thought it was a very strong start to the year of PPV’s and one can hope it will get better as the year goes on.
That’s all from San Antonio. The next Pay-Per-View is the Elimination Chamber in two weeks! See ya soon!
