WWE Roadblock: End Of The Line 2016 Results

Welcome to Pittsburgh, PA and also to WWE Roadblock: End Of The Line, the last Pay-Per-View event of the year!

As usual, we start off with a Kickoff Match. This time it is between Big Cass and Rusev.

Both men go for clubbing blows to one another after a tie up. Rusev goes after Enzo. Cass goes to check on Enzo and, gets counted out.

Your winner via countout: Rusev!

The first match of the night is a tag team match between The New Day and, Sheamus and Cesaro for the Raw Tag Team Championship!

Kofi and Cesaro start off and, already it’s a good match.  A blocked monkey flip, a blocked Cesaro Swing and, and a blocked Ten Beats.  The New Day go for the Mdnight Hour, only for Kofi to be distracted. The end comes from a Trouble in Paradise from Kofi to Cesaro, but only for him to be rolled up by Sheamus.  Then new longest Tag Team Championship reign in history is gone.

Your winners and NEW Raw Tag Team Champions: Sheamus and Cesaro!

Second match is a match with a ten minute time limit: Braun Strowman vs. Sami Zayn

This seems to be another typical squash match for Braun as Mick is trying to protect Sami from getting hurt. Sami tries his best to go after the mountain of a man that is Braun, and succeeds at several points to get the big guy down, only for him to get back up to deliver punishment to Sami.  Foley comes down to the ring carrying a white towel. Braun tosses Sami out to the floor and demands that Foley toss in the towel, but Sami tosses the towel to the crowd.  Sami knocks Braun into the ringsteps, and sidesteps Braun as he charges into the barricade.  The ref starts a count but, Braun gets back in. Time is running out. As time starts winding down, Braun tosses Sami outside of the ring, and Sami connects with the Helluva Kick to Braun as time expires.

Your winner is: Sami Zayn!

Third match of the night: Chris Jericho vs. Seth Rollins

A lot of action between these two… kicks, chops, and ground and pound attacks. Several attempts by both men to put each other away. At some point, Kevin Owens shows up just as Jericho rolls up Rollins but, the ref is distracted by Owens and can’t count the pin.  Jericho notices and starts yelling at Owens. Owens head back to to the back as Jericho goes for the Codebreaker, only to be countered by a Pedigree from Rollins.

Your winner is: Seth Rollins!

The fourth match of the night is a triple threat match for the Cruiserweight Championship between Rich Swann, TJ Perkins and THE Brian Kendrick

Lots of high flying action from the cruiserweights.  A couple of submission holds from Perkins and Kendrick. Perkins and Swann double team on Kendrick with a couple of moves.  Swann with a Roundhouse Kick to Perkins for the win!

Your winner and STILL Cruiserweight Champion: Rich Swann!

After the match is over, Neville comes down and attacks both Swann and Perkins! Neville is back, and hes got a new attitude!

The fifth match is the 30-mintue Ironwoman match for the Raw Women’s Championship between Sasha Banks and Charlotte

A lot of back and forth action between the two women, with the first fall going to Charlotte via the Natural Selection from the top rope.  Sasha battles back and ties the score with a roll upon Charlotte, and gets her second point and, the lead, with the Banks Statement.  Both women for submission holds, as Charlotte tries for the Figure eight, then a Figure Four Leg Lock only for it to be reversed.  Charlotte tries again for the Figure Four and makes Sasha tap for her second point and ties the match up, sending it to sudden death.

At some point during the match Sasha is busted open as both women try to get the upperhand. Sasha goes for the Banks Statement again, only for Charlotte to  counter with a Figure Four, then into the Figure Eight for last point of the match.

Your winner and NEW Raw Women’s Champion: Charlotte!

The Main Event for the night is the match for the WWE Universal Championship between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns

Hard hitting action and amazing agility from both men in this match, especially from Kevin Owens. Clubbing blows from both. A cannonball splash from Owens, a Drive By from Reigns, as well as a couple of Superman Punches for a couple of near falls from Reigns. Owens hits the Pop-up Powerbomb on Reigns only to get a two-count, as Reigns’ foot was on the bottom rope.  Owens grabs his title and starts arguing with the ref.

Jericho comes down and gives a Codebreaker to Owens, causing a disqualification! As JeriKO starts to head to the back, Rollins comes down, and both Rollins and Reigns go after them.  A spear to Owens from, Reigns and a Pedigree from Rollins to Jericho.  An anncounce table is cleared as both Reigns and Rollins do a double powerbomb to Jericho through that. Rollins and Reigns go after Owens up on the stage and plant him through that table with a double powerbomb as well.

Your winner and STILL WWE Universal Champion: Kevin Owens via DQ!

Thats all for Roadblock: End of the Line. The next Pay-Per-View comes January 29, 2017 and, that is the Royal Rumble!

Hope you all have a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Happy Holidays all around! See you next year!

A motivating discussion is worth comment. I do think that you should publish more about this subject matter, it might not be a taboo subject but typically people don’t speak about these subjects. To the next! Best wishes!!
