Who is a Bigger Idiot: Virgil or Dixie Carter?
- Updated: July 18, 2015
Introducing first: TNA owner Dixie Carter, who signed Hernandez and put him on TV without first making sure she could actually do so. Hernandez was under contract to Lucha Underground, but asked for his release. He then went to TNA, believing he was a free agent, and signed with them. The problem is, though, that while Hernandez’s release from Lucha Underground was in the works, it was never made official. Lucha Underground allowed Hernandez to take other bookings, so long as he does not appear on another company’s television program, pretty much standard practice among companies outside of WWE. Lucha Underground sent a cease-and-desist letter to TNA demanding they stop using Hernandez on TV. So, TNA released Hernandez. But TNA still has weeks of television that they have already shot featuring Hernandez that they now have to edit to remove the Beatdown Clan.

And her opponent, the Master of Delusion, Virgil, who started a GoFundMe asking his fans to make him the new million-dollar man. That’s it. He just wants people to give him a million dollars. I’m not going to link to his page, because what he’s doing is utterly ridiculous. This is the description of his fundraiser:
And here’s how the fundraiser’s going:
Now, in the interest of fairness, I can’t verify if this is actually Virgil’s doing. He didn’t promote it on Twitter. But it sounds like something Virgil would do. And Virgil calling himself your favorite wrestler sounds like something he would do. And this has been up since late June, and it doesn’t look like Virgil’s done anything to get it taken down, so I’m going to guess it’s real.
So, now I turn to you, the reader, and ask, who is the bigger idiot?
