Welcome everyone to Columbus, Ohio and also welcome to “WWE Fastlane”! Tonight, There is a huge main event where the WWE Championship will be on the line in a Six-Pack Challenge! The winner will move on “Wrestlemania” and face Shinsuke Nakamura. Speaking of which, this is the final Pay-Per-View before “Wrestlemania” and, everything is about to pick up steam. Also, an old rivalry renews as the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championships are on the line and, will “The Viper” claim another championship as the US Championship is also up for grabs.  Without further ado, let’s get right to it!

Final thoughts on the night: For it is the final PPV before “Wrestlemania” it was a good night overall. All the matches were really good. I think the best match of the night was the main event, the 6-Pack Challenge. I will admit though, that I was pulling for Sami Zayn at times. That being said, I was glad to see AJ Styles retain, and that sets up the match at “Wrestlemania” against Shinsuke Nakamura.  The Women’s Championship match was good, the best surprise though, was when Asuka came out to challenge Charlotte Flair for the WWE Women’s Championship at “Wrestlemania”. Those two matches right there should be awesome!

The end of the Tag Team Championship match, I thought, wasn’t right. Having The Bludgeon Brothers come out to decimate both teams was a little weak. It could be a set up for “Wrestlemania” to make it a Triple Threat Match, same goes for the United States Championship, once Jinder Mahal got involved afterward. And, there will be some sort of repercussions on “Smackdown” seeing as Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens brought Shane McMahon into the match. Going back to Asuka, now that she’s challenged Charlotte, where does that leave Alexa Bliss, for “Wrestlemania”? And, where does that leave John Cena, now that he doesn’t have a guaranteed match at “Wrestlemania”? Will The Undertaker show up and take up John on his challenge? There’s a lot of questions to be answered as we get closer to “Wrestlemania”. So, until then folks, see you April 8th for “Wrestlemania” in New Orleans!
