WWE No Mercy 2017 Results

Welcome one and all to Los Angeles, CA, and also welcome to WWE “No Mercy”! Tonight, there are two “Wrestlemania” caliber matches: Cena vs. Reigns and Lesnar vs. Strowman for the Universal Championship! Also, there is a Fatal Five Way Match for the Raw Women’s Championship, The Miz vs Jason Jordan for the Intercontinental Championship, and more! Without further ado, let’s get started:

  1. Elias vs. Apollo Crews (w/ Titus O’Neil) Winner: Elias Samson!
  2. The Miz (w/ The Miztourage (Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas)) vs. Jason Jordan: Intercontinental Championship. Winner and STILL WWE Intercontinental Champion: The Miz!
  3. Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor Winner: Finn Balor!
  4. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus and Cesaro (The Bar): Raw Tag Team Championships. Winners and STILL WWE Raw Tag Team Champions: Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins!
  5. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks vs. Emma vs. Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss: Raw Women’s Championship. Winner and STILL WWE Raw Women’s Champion: Alexa Bliss!
  6. John Cena vs. Roman Reigns Winner: Roman Reigns!
  7. Neville vs. Enzo Amore: Cruiserweight Championship. Winner and NEW WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Enzo Amore!
  8. Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman): Universal Championship. Winner and STILL WWE Universal Champion: Brock Lesnar!

Final thoughts on tonight’s event. The action was good, but I thought the Lesnar/Strowman match was short. I really thought that Strowman would win the championship to further cement his status as a monster, but no.  The women’s match, while good, I still thought there should’ve been a new champion there as well. Enzo winning the Cruiserweight Championship was a surprise but, something tells me he’s not holding the title for very long. Cena losing to Reigns I’m mixed about it. Is it a good send off for Cena? Yeah, kinda. But, I don’t think Reigns was the man to do it. It definatly was not the best event of the year. One can only wonder what the fallout from tonight will be come Monday.  With that said, Smackdown has to get to work to make sure “Hell in a Cell” is amazing, otherwise, it might fall flat. See you in two weeks for then!
