WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2017 Results
- Updated: October 22, 2017
Hello once again, everyone to Minneapolis, Minnesota, and welcome to “WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs”! Tonight will feature two championship matches, the debut to the “Raw” brand of the longest NXT Champion to “Raw” in Asuka, a 5-on-3 handicap match with the return of Kurt Angle to the squared circle, and an Interbrand match. The reason for the Interbrand match and Kurt Angle, instead of the return of the Shield, is because both Roman Reigns and “Sister Abigail” are out with an illness. With all that said, let’s get going!
1)Sasha Banks vs. Alicia Fox: Winner: Sasha Banks!
2) Asuka vs. Emma: Winner: Asuka!
3) Gentleman Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick vs. Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann: Winners: Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann!
4) Mickie James vs. Alexa Bliss: Raw Women’s Championship. Winner and STILL Raw Women’s Champion: Alexa Bliss!
5) Enzo Amore vs. Kalisto: WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Winner and NEW WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Enzo Amore!
6)AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor: Winner: Finn Balor!
7) Elias vs. Jason Jordan: Winner: Jason Jordan!
8) The Miz, The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro), Braun Strowman, and Kane vs. Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Kurt Angle. TLC Match. Winners: Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Kurt Angle!
Final thoughts. Well, I have to give it to the WWE for coming up with a backup plan for tonight, with Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt being sick. The match between AJ Styles and Finn Balor was, dare I say it, “Phenomenal”! As was the 5-on-3 handicap match. It was good to see Kurt back in the ring. And seeing Asuka perform, she lives up the hype! However, it was a weak card overall. That being said, you have to do what you have to do in order to put on a show, and in that, the WWE did a good job. Now the road to Survivor Series begins. And, with that, its time to sign off until Survivor Series, which takes place November, 19th in Houston!
