Michigan 28, Penn State 16 – Rapid Reaction
- Updated: November 21, 2015
I am tired of having to beat the refs. This was only not the worst-officiated game of the year because the Michigan State game happened and in that one, Joe Bolden was ejected for getting thrown onto a guy.
As for the game itself, when they weren’t getting jobbed by the zebras, the defense was quite good. A Peppers coverage biff led to Penn State’s only touchdown. Twice Michigan held them in the red zone.
On offense, Rudock wasn’t as great as he was against Rutgers or IU, but then again, Penn State is not Rutgers or IU. Penn State treats pass defense as more than a suggestion. Also, Penn State was able to get pressure on Rudock. De’Veon Smith had a nice game; the line seemed to be doing a better job run blocking. We’ll see how everyone grades out.
